What is Your Carnal Mindset Awareness Factor?

Awareness defined as (the state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects, or sensory patterns. At this level of consciousness, an observer may confirm sense data without necessarily implying understanding. Broadly, it is the state or quality of being cognizant, to recognize by perception or by means of information).

I am not an expert regarding the mind, and I certainly do not have a degree in psychology when it comes to the mind; but it appears to me that being aware of what is taking place around us is a key factor. I believe that awareness is essential to our everyday life, be it a carnal mindset or a spiritual mindset. Awareness is a specific state of being cognizant, a consciousness that allows us to discern between facts and truths, stories, and even the lies in our mind. As one moves forward from here, when it comes to our mind, it is full of perceptions and false beliefs. One must remember that our mind can and will deceive us if we allow it to. Discernment is a very important key and factor, as well, and one must use discernment in all areas of life. The paragraph above briefly described awareness. I sincerely hope the definition is clear and understandable. Remember in all that one does, get understanding.

What is a Carnal Mindset? The answer to this question is pure and simple. In Romans 8:7 AMP – 7 [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot. As we meditate on this scripture and what is presented here, is that a carnal mind and carnal thoughts work hand-in-hand or together, and it goes against the things of God. We all have carnal thoughts; but a carnal mind is having a heart of all worldly things and thinking. You cannot have a carnal mindset and expect spiritual things of God to manifest into your life. Success is limited with this type of heart, mindset, and attitude. Furthermore, a carnal mind hinders the growth of the spirit-man, and it is death to one’s spiritual life. Romans 8:6 AMP – 6 (a) Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]… this is a daily warfare which is truly in the mind. This type of war is with the flesh, along with one’s spirit-man, on a daily basis. One of the things that a carnal minded person depends on is their five physical senses. Yes, we use these five senses in everyday life, for seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting in the physical realm. These five senses are limited to the carnal mindset of humankind and to one’s success in the earthly realm. The carnal-minded person will have difficulty understanding that God’s presence is a constant, and He is all around us. Still quite a few people do not believe that God exists, yet nonetheless, believe in some other higher power. Conversely, let something heartrending happen to a family member or to them personally and one of the first things that will come out of their mouths is, (Oh God) please help me! You never hear anyone say, “Oh devil or some higher power, please help me.” Do you ever wonder why this is so?

In closing, one of the many starting points that God exists is through prayer, success principles to apply in my daily life. God also exists through the many miracles and wonders that took place thousands of years ago, and they still do today. Throughout the Bible, godly men and women discovered the awareness of God through basic prayer. In other words, it is not about religion, it is about having a personal relationship with God, by being a true worshipper to the Father (God) in spirit and in truth! Need I say more? I could, but I will not. Again, in all that one does, get understanding.
